THE FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONALISM OF AIRPORT MANAGERS. THE FOUNDATION GRANTS SCHOLARSHIPS TO AAAE ACCREDITED MEMBERS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS. SINCE 1989, THE AAAE FOUNDATION HAS ISSUED OVER 3,250 SCHOLARSHIP CHECKS TOTALING MORE THAN $5.7 MILLION, MAKING THE ORGANIZATION ONE OF THE LARGEST SUPPORTERS OF HIGHER EDUCATION ASSISTANCE IN THE ENTIRE AVIATION INDUSTRY. IN 2022, THE AAAE FOUNDATION AWARDED 127 SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS TOTALING $370,702.
