CAI SUPPORTS AN ARRAY OF PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON INCREASING ACCESS TO QUALITY EDUCATION, ESPECIALLY FOR GIRLS AND WOMEN. DURING THE PERIOD ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2021, CAI'S LARGEST PROGRAMS AS MEASURED BY EXPENSES INCLUDED: 1.) IMPROVING ACCESS TO EDUCATION, INCLUDING SUPPORTING COMMUNITY-BASED EDUCATION FOR OUT OF SCHOOL CHILDREN, STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, AND SCHOOL RENOVATIONS.2.) IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION CHILDREN RECEIVE, INCLUDING: SUPPORTING TEACHER TRAINING; TEACHER SCHOLARSHIPS; AND SCIENCE, MATH, AND COMPUTER EDUCATION.3.) EMERGENCY HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL RESPONSES TO THE IMPACTS OF THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC INCLUDING HEALTH EDUCATION, AWARENESS RAISING, DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATIONAL MATERIALS AND PPE FOR FRONTLINE WORKERS.
