NATIONAL ENVIROTHON COMPETITION - THE DACD HELPS TO SUPPORT THE WINNING DELAWARE ENVIROTHON TEAM TRAVEL AND COMPETE IN THE NATIONAL ENVIROTHON COMPETITION. THE NATIONAL ENVIROTHON COMPETITION WAS HELD VIRTUALLY IN NEBRASKA FROM JULY 25 2021 - JULY 28 2021. DELAWARE'S TEAM PLACED 20TH OUT OF 41 TEAMS.
DELAWARE ENVIROTHON COMPETITION - THE DACD HELPS TO SUPPORT THE DELAWARE ENVIROTHON COMPETITION WHERE HIGH SCHOOL 4-H FFA TEAMS COME TOGETHER TO COMPETE IN ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING ON VARIOUS TOPICS TO SEE WHO CAN ATTAIN THE TOP SCORE IN TESTING. THE WINNING TEAM IS THEN ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL ENVIROTHON. DELAWARE'S 2021 ENVIROTHON WAS HEALD VIRTURLLY ATTENDED BY 7 TEAMS AND WON BY CHARTER SCHOOL OF WILMINGTON TEAM C.
