TO TAKE CARE OF MEMBERS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS WHO MAY BE IN URGENT NEED OF ASSISTANCE FINANCIAL OR OTHERWISE; TO ASSIST IN RECRUITING FOR THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD; SUPPORT THE AIM AND GOALS OF THE CHIEF PETTY OFFICER'S ACADEMY; TO ASSEMBLE FOR SOCIAL AMENITIES; BECOME INVOLVED IN COMMUNITY AFFAIRS; PROMOTE SOCIAL PROGRAMS FOR THOSE IN NEED; AND KEEP INFORMED ON UNITED STATES COAST GUARD MATTERS; WHEREBY WE MAY CONTINUE TO SERVE IN LOYALTY TO THE NATION AND THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD. NATIONAL OFFICE: A NATIONAL OFFICE WAS PROVIDED BY THE ASSOCIATION FOR APROXIMATELY 10,000 MEMBERS IN 52 CHAPTERS AND 35 BRANCHES NATIONALLY, TO PROMOTE QUALITY OF LIFE AND PROFESSIONALISM OF MEMBERS.
PUBLICATIONS: PRINTING OF 'THE CHIEF- AND MOTHLY NEWSLETTER FOR THE PURPOSE OF KEEPING MEMBERS INFORMED OF ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE USCG AND TO PROMOTE PROFESSIONALISM.
