THE VIRGINIA FEDERATION OF HUMANE SOCIETIES LEADS AN ALLIANCE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING MUTUAL SUPPORT AND TO ACTING COLLECTIVELY AS THE VOICE FOR ANIMAL WELFARE IN VIRGINIA. WE ARE THE LEADING ADVOCATE FOR ENDING UNNECESSARY EUTHANASIA OF CATS AND DOGS AND FOR ADVANCING ANIMAL WELFARE THROUGHOUT THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA.

PROVIDE SERVICES AND GRANTS TO BENEFIT MEMBERS WHICH INCLUDE 157 MEMBERS MADE UP OF LOCAL SPCAS, SHELTERS, CLINICS, RESCUES AND INDIVIDUALS. SERVICES PROMOTE THE COOPERATION BETWEEN MEMBERS ACROSS THE STATE TO PROMOTE SPAYING AND NEUTERING OF ANIMALS, ANIMAL WELFARE AND RESCUE SERVICES.
ANIMAL WELFARE EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE AND MATERIALS WITH ATTENDEES, GUESTS AND EXHIBITORS TO PROMOTE BEST PRACTICES IN ANIMAL WELFARE AND TO PROMOTE THE HUMANE TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.
