THE NATIONAL CZECH & SLOVAK MUSEUM & LIBRARY (NCSML) OPERATES A MUSEUM WHICH REACHES THE COMMUNITY THROUGH EXHIBITS, EDUCATION AND A LIBRARY.EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING TRADITIONALLY FEATURES SCHOOL STUDY TRIPS THAT PROVIDE MULTICULTURAL ADVENTURE, CONNECTING STUDENTS TO THE LARGER, GLOBAL COMMUNITY IN A PERSONAL MANNER. THE NCSML PRESENTED OUR PERMANENT EXHIBIT, "FACES OF FREEDOM AND 7 TEMPORARY EXHIBITS IN 2022 INCLUDING TREASURES OF SLOVAKIA, GRIDIRON CHAMPS, AMAZING ATHLETES, CZECH INNOVATION EXPO, RIGHTING A WRONG, AND MARDI GRAS & CARNIVAL TRADITIONS. THE MUSEUM STAGED NINE TEMPORARY EXHIBITS IN 2023 INCLUDING ARTISTS CAUGHT BEHIND THE IRON CURTAIN, MEMORYSCAPE, MORAVIAN FOLK MOTIFS, BRILLIANT BOHEMIAN GARNETS, AND THE MAD SILKMAN. THE MULTILINGUAL LIBRARY COLLECTION INCLUDES BOOKS, PERIODICALS, ORAL HISTORIES, AND ARCHIVAL MATERIALS.
