THE LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR CHICAGO PROVINCE IS ONE OF THREE PROVINCES IN THE UNITED STATES THAT PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE HOMES WITHIN ITS TERRITORY. THE PROVINCE OVERSEES THE HOMES THAT ARE PART OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONGREGATION OF THE LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR, WHICH WAS FOUNDED IN FRANCE IN 1839 AND SERVES THE ELDERLY IN 32 COUNTRIES.
