THE NORTHWEST MISSISSIPPI COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION (THE FOUNDATION), IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST MISSISSIPPI COMMUNITY COLLEGE'S (NWCC) CAMPUS. THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO RAISE FUNDS TO ASSIST NWCC IS PERFORMING ITS MISSION AND TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR QUALIFYING STUDENTS OF NORTHWEST MISSISSIPPI COMMUNITY COLLEGE. THE FOUNDATION IS A COMPONENT UNIT OF NWCC. THE FOUNDATION RAISES FUNDS BY SEEKING DONATIONS AND SPONSORING FUND-RAISING EVENTS.
