RECOVERED PLASMA FOR FURTHER MANUFACTURE:BBD RESERVES EXCESS PLASMA GATHERED DURING WHOLE BLOOD COLLECTION AND POOLS IT FOR BIWEEKLY SHIPMENT TO A FRACTIONATOR THAT IDENTIFIES AND EXTRACTS ELEMENTS IN THE PLASMA TO PRODUCE DERIVATIVES FOR MEDICAL USE, SUCH AS ALBUMIN, WHICH PROVIDES THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT TO PATIENTS WITH A VARIETY OF DISEASE CONDITIONS.
