TO ENCOURAGE AND EXPAND MASONIC PHILANTHROPY TO CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL, AND SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMS.

Part 3 - Line 4a
ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOOL BAND CAMP STUDENTS ARE SPONSORED BY LOCAL LODGES ACROSS KANSAS AND COORDINATED BY THE KANSAS SHRINE BOWL. LOCAL LODGES PAY A FEE FORE EACH STUDENT (NO COST TO THE STUDENT). THE BAND CAMP PROGRAM HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED AND HAS BEEN COPIED BY OTHER STATES. THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE CAMP IS NOW HANDLED BY THE KANSAS SHRINE BOWL AND THE KANSAS MASONIC FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THE CAMP THROUGH A GRANT TO THE KANSAS SHRINE BOWL TO HELP DEFRAY THE COSTS.
ASSIST THOSE IN NEED BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS. THE GRANTS RELATED TO SCHOLARSHIPS WERE PAID TO INDIVIDUALS AND WERE INCLUDED IN THE AUDITED PROGRAM EXPENSE OF CONTRIBUTIONS, GRANTS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS.
