GRANTS ARE GIVEN TO TEACHERS AND SCHOOL ADMINSTRATORS, ALLOWING THEM TO DO CLASS PROJECTS OR PROVIDE EDUCATION MATERIALS THAT THEY OTHERWISE WOULD HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO OBTAIN, THUS ENHANCING THE CURRICULUM THROUGHOUT THE EL DORADO PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT.
SUPPORT IS PROVIDED TO USD 490 AND ITS STUDENTS THROUGH HIGHER EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS AND LOCAL NEEDS AWARDS; OVER 17 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE PAID DURING THE FISCAL YEAR.
GRANTS ARE AWARDED TO USD 490 TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, AND FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS, INCLUDING THE BLACKMORE ALUMNI TRACK, MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS, ATHLETIC EQUIPMENT, AND ELECTRONICS. THESE PROGRAMS BENEFIT USERS OF THE FIELD TRACK, APPLIED MATHEMATICS, AND ELEMENTARY E-BOOK AVAILABILITY.
