THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO STIMULATE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN WAMEGO BY COORDINATING AND SYNERGIZING EFFORTS IN THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY TO CREATE A POSITIVE IMAGE BY PROMOTING THROUGH OUR EVENTS THAT WAMEGO IS AN EXCITING PLACE TO LIVE, SHOP, AND INVEST; IMPROVE THE APPEARANCE OF OUR CITY; AND TO RECEIVE, ADMINISTER, AND DISTRIBUTE FUNDS IN CONNECTION WITH ANY ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE ABOVE PURPOSES.

ANNUAL CELEBRATION - A NIGHT TO RECOGNIZE COMMUNITY MEMBERS ACCOMPLISHMENTS FROM THE PAST YEAR
TULIP FESTIVAL, JULY 4TH PARADE, WAKE UP WAMEGO, OZTOBERBEST, FARMER'S NIGHT, AND ONE WICKED RUN. THESE EVENTS WERE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THE CHAMBER ALSO SPONSORED AN ANNUAL CELEBRATION INVOLVING APPROXIMATELY 130 MEMBERS AND MONTHLY GENERAL MEETINGS OF 60 MEMBERS. THE TULIP FESTIVAL AND JULY 4TH PARADE ESTIMATES THAT APPROXIMATELY 15-20,000 WERE IN ATTENDANCE.
