AYS' FOSTER CARE PROGRAM PROVIDED SERVICES TO 186 YOUTH. 95% OF THE YOUTH IN THE JUVENILE JUSTICE FOSTER CARE PROGRAM ACQUIRED NO NEW CHARGES WHILE IN AYS' CARE.
HOME TIES IS A RESIDENTIAL CENTER FOR ADOLESCENT BOYS. 97% OF THE YOUTH IN THE PROGRAM ATTENDED SCHOOL REGULARLY (OF THOSE WHO STAYED LONGER THAN 10 DAYS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR) OR POSSESSED A GED/HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND HELD A JOB.
AYS' ADOLESCENT DRUG & ALCOHOL PREVENTION & TREATMENT (ADAPT) IS AN OUTPATIENT PROGRAM FOR YOUTH EXPERIENCING SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROBLEMS. 84% OF THE DRUG SCREENS PERFORMED ON CLIENTS WERE NEGATIVE.
