PUBLICATION AND EDUCATION THROUGH THE PUBLICATION OF THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE FUR TRADE, VARIOUS VOLUMES
ACQUISITION, PRESERVATION AND EXHIBITION OF THE COLLECTION, THE ASSOCIATION EXHIBITS OVER 2,000 OBJECTS BOTH CHRONOLOGICALLY AND THERMATICALLY TO EDUCATE THE VISITOR(S) ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF THE FUR TRADE, THE FIRST BUSINESS IN NORTH AMERICA. A VIDEO INTRODUCES THE PUBLIC TO THE HISTORY OF THE FUR TRADE AND AUDIO TOURS ARE ALSO OFFERED. THE ASSOCIATION WORKS TO BUILD, MAINTAIN AND PRESERVE ITS UNIQUE COLLECTION, WHICH IS USED FOR RESEARCH, EXHIBITION AND EDUCATION.
PUBLICATION FOR MEMBERS OF THE MUSEUM. A QUARTERLY SCHOLARLY JOURNAL IS MAILED TO ALL DUES PAYING MEMBERS OF THE MUSEUM. THE MUSEUM OF THE FUR TRADE QUARTERLY CONTAINS ARTICLES ABOUT THE FUR TRADE, OBJECTS OF THE FUR TRADE, OBJECTS IN THE MUSEUMS COLLECTIONS AND ACTIVITIES AT THE MUSEUM ACQUISITION.
