GREATER THINGS IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL AND COMMUNITY BUILDING FOR CHRISTIAN PURPOSES; TO EMPOWER AND EQUIP WOMEN AND MEN IN THEIR EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL, AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH; PROVIDING TOOLS, RESOURCES AND INSTRUCTIONAL TRAINING THAT EQUIPS AND ENABLES PRODUCTIVE, HEALTHY AND BIBLICAL LIVES.

GREATER THINGS HOSTED MULTIPLE OFF-SITE EVENTS IN 2023 THAT WERE OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY THAT REACHED ROUGHLY 350 PEOPLE AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS. THESE EVENTS INCLUDED A MARRIAGE RETREAT WITH ROUGHLY (20) COUPLES, A WOMEN'S FALL RETREAT WITH ROUGHLY (30) WOMEN IN ATTENDANCE. WE HOSTED A MEN'S RETREAT WITH (12) MEN, A WOMEN'S SPRING RETREAT, A WOMAN'S ALL DAY INTENSIVE TRAINING (ROUGHLY 75 WOMEN IN ATTENDANCE AT EACH) AND ANOTHER COMMUNITY EVENT NEAR CHRISTMAS WITH ROUGHLY (120) PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE. ALL OF THESE EVENTS SUPPORTED OUR OVERALL MISSION TO STRENGTHEN AND EMPOWER WOMEN (AND MEN) AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH SPIRITUAL AND EMOTIONAL TRAINING AND GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES.
PROGRAMMING EVENTS WERE RUN IN THE GREATER THINGS BUILDING AT 6812 BAUM DR THAT REACHED ROUGHLY (90) PEOPLE EVER WEEK. THESE INCLUDED FIVE STANDING WEEKLY MEETINGS THAT OFFER SMALL AND SAFE COMMUNITIES TO BUILD TRUST AND CONFIDENCE: SUNDAY NIGHT, TUESDAY NIGHT, WEDNESDAY DAY, WEDNESDAY NIGHT, THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING. ADDITIONALLY, SEVERAL ONE-TIME LARGER GROUP GATHERINGS WERE HELD, INCLUDING A WOMEN'S TRAINING EVENT, FINANCIAL BUDGETING CLASES FOR WOMEN AND COUPLES, AND HOLIDAY GATHERINGS FOR PALM SUNDAY, EASTER, THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS. ALL OF THESE EVENTS SUPPORTED OUR OVERALL MISSION TO STRENGTHEN AND EMPOWER WOMEN MEN AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL TRAINING AND VARIOUS OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH IN SAFE COMMUNITY.
PART OF THE MISSION OF GREATER THINGS IS TO ELEVATE WOMEN IN THEIR CAREERS, GOALS AND AMBITIONS. WE PROVIDE OFFICE SPACE AND MEETING SPACE BELOW FAIR MARKET VALUE FOR WOMEN-LED STARTUP BUSINESSES AND MINISTRIES. AS PART OF THEIR INFORMAL PARTNERSHIP WITH GREATER THINGS, WE PROVIDE ONE ON ONE AND GROUP MENTORSHIP, VARIOUS SMALL BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL TRAINING, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, AS WELL AS EXPOSURE FOR THEIR BUSINESS AND MINISTRY WITHIN THE GREATER THINGS COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE.
