FELLOWSHIP SQUARE PROVIDES AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND SERVICES TO SENIORS WHO HAVE VERY LIMITED INCOMES AND RESOURCES. SINCE 1960, FELLOWSHIP SQUARE FOUNDATION HAS PROVIDED QUALITY, INDEPENDENT APARTMENT LIVING IN RESTON AND WOODBRIDGE, VIRGINIA AND UPPER MARLBORO, MARYLAND FOR MORE THAN 3,000 RESIDENTS.HUNTERS WOODS FELLOWSHIP HOUSE OPENED IN 1979 AND OFFERS 224 UNITS OF INDEPENDENT LIVING ALONG WITH COMMON SPACE FOR ACTIVITIES, GAMES, EXERCISE, SOCIAL EVENTS, AND HEALTHCARE PRESENTATIONS. THE PROPERTY IS PART OF A LOCAL SHOPPING PLAZA WHICH MAKES DAILY ERRANDS EXTREMELY EASY AND CONVENIENT FOR RESIDENTS. THE PROPERTY OPERATES UNDER SECTION 223(F) OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT AND PARTICIPATES IN THE SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENT PROGRAM.
