COCO'S HOUSE MISSION IS TO RESCUE, REHABILITATE AND REHOME THE HUNDREDS OF HOMELESS AND ABANDONED DOGS IN MISSISSIPPI AND SURROUNDING STATES. WE STRIVE TO ENSURE THAT ALL OUR CHARGES ARE HEALTHY AND LEARN TO LIVE AS FAVORED FAMILY MEMBERS.

THE PRIMARY PROGRAM EXPENSE IS PROVIDING MEDICAL CARE, PROPER NUTRITION AND HOUSING. EXPENSES WITHIN THIS INCLUDE BEDDING, CLEANING SUPPLIES, FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT (TOYS/CHEWS ETC) AND TRAINING. MANY DISCARDED DOGS REQUIRE SOME FORM OF TRAINING TO LEARN HOW TO FUNCTION IN A HOUSEHOLD. 270 DOGS WERE RESCUED FROM THE STREETS OR SHELTERS, RECEIVED FULL MEDICAL CARE AND WERE EITHER ADOPTED OR PLACED IN A FOREVER FOSTER HOME. 36 DOGS RECEIVED SPECIALIZED TRAINING FOR SPECIFIC BEHAVIORS TO MAKE THEM ADOPTABLE. MEDICAL CARE RANGED FROM BASIC SHOTS AND SPAY/NEUTER TO MAJOR SURGERY AND REHABILITATION. MANY OF OUR DISABLED DOGS REQUIRE CARPETING TO REMAIN MOBILE.
