THE MICHIGAN PROSPERITY PROJECT FOUNDATIONS GOAL WAS TO EDUCATE MICHIGAN TAXPAYERS ABOUT ISSUES IN THE STATE THAT AFFECT MICHIGANS ECONOMY, LOCAL AND STATE TAX RATES, THE MICHIGAN REGULATORY ENVIRONMENT AND JOB CREATION. WE SENT OUT REGULAR EMAILS ABOUT CURRENT TOPICS THAT WERE BEING DISCUSSED IN THE STATE LEGISLATURE AND BY THE STATE AND LOCAL MEDIA AND ENGAGED IN SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVITIES TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT CURRENT ISSUES RELATED TO THESE SUBJECTS. WE ALSO PROVIDED SPEAKERS FOR EVENTS ORGANIZED BY LOCAL BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY GROUPS WHO WERE INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT THESE SUBJECTS.
