THE STEVE FUND IS THE NATION'S LEADING ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON SUPPORTING THE MENTAL HEALTH AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING OF YOUNG PEOPLE OF COLOR. THE STEVE FUND WORKS WITH COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, NON-PROFITS, RESEARCHERS, MENTAL HEALTH EXPERTS, FAMILIES, AND YOUNG PEOPLE TO PROMOTE PROGRAMS AND STRATEGIES THAT BUILD UNDERSTANDING AND ASSISTANCE FOR THE MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH OF THE NATION'S YOUNG PEOPLE OF COLOR. THE FUND HOLDS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE SERIES, YOUNG, GIFTED & @RISK, AND OFFERS A KNOWLEDGE CENTER WITH CURATED EXPERT INFORMATION. PROGRAMS AND PARTNERSHIPSTHE STEVE FUND IS THE NATION'S ESSENTIAL STRATEGIC AND IMPLEMENTATION PARTNER FOR COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, COMPANIES, INSTITUTIONS, AND ORGANIZATIONS SEEKING TO BUILD KNOWLEDGE, CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING AND TOOLS TO EQUITABLY SUPPORT THE MENTAL HEALTH AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING OF STUDENTS AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF COLOR. THE STEVE FUND GREW ITS PARTNER NETWORK TO 225 INSTITUTIONS UTILIZING ITS PROGRAMS AND SERVICES.THROUGH OUR WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS WE REACHED OVER 1000 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, OVER 2000 COLLEGE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS AND 1200 PROFESSIONALS WHO WORK WITH STUDENTS OF COLOR.
EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, THE STEVE FUND HELD WORKSHOPS DESIGNED TO EQUIP YOUNG PEOPLE OF COLOR WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO MAINTAIN POSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH. WORKSHOPS WERE CO-LED BY STUDENTS OF COLOR AND MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS TO DISCUSS MENTAL HEALTH AND ENCOURAGE UTILIZATION OF RESOURCES AND SUPPORT. IN ADDITION, THE STEVE FUND HAD CULTURALLY COMPETENT MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT GROUPS LED BY MULTICULTURAL PSYCHIATRISTS, PSYCHOLOGISTS, AND OTHER MENTAL HEALTH EXPERTS.
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IS AN AREA OF ACTIVITY THAT FOCUSES ON BUILDING THE FOUNDATION'S TECHNOLOGY CAPABILITIES, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND PLATFORMS. IT INCLUDES PARTNERSHIPS WITH TECH INNOVATIONS, SUCH AS A CRISIS TEXT LINE.
EQUITY IN MENTAL HEALTH ON CAMPUSGOAL OF THE EQUITY IN MENTAL HEALTH ON CAMPUS INITIATIVE IS TO GUIDE AND SUPPORT A COHORT OF SCHOOLS THROUGH A TRANSFORMATIVE PROCESS THAT WILL MAKE THE MENTAL HEALTH OF STUDENTS OF COLOR A PRIORITY FOR THEIR CAMPUS COMMUNITY. THE EMHC INITIATIVE USES THE EQUITY IN MENTAL HEALTH FRAMEWORK (EMHF), A FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND SET OF 10 ACTIONABLE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES TO SUPPORT THE MENTAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SOCIAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF STUDENTS OF COLOR. THE EMHC HAS REACHED MORE THAN 173,000STUDENTS AT 27 COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.. IN ADDITION, TO SUPPORT INSTITUTIONS IN USING THE EMHF, THE STEVE FUND AND JED FOUNDATION CONTINUE TO SHARE ITS EMHF IMPLEMENTATION TOOLKIT WITH INTERESTED COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES. THE STEVE FUND LAUNCHED A COHORT WITH 11 NEW CAMPUSES TO IMPLEMENT THE EMHF.
