THE PETAL CONNECTION IS A GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS WHO GATHER TOGETHER TO BRING LOVE AND JOY TO HOSPICE PATIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND SENIORS IN THE COMMUNITY. GENEROUS DONORS SUPPLY THE ORGANIZATION WITH FLOWERS AND VASES THAT ARE REPURPOSED INTO BEAUTIFUL, COLORFUL GIFTS. THIS RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS BLESSES NOT ONLY THE RECIPIENT BUT ALSO THE PERSON WHOSE HANDS ASSEMBLE THE BOUQUETS. DURING 2020 THE PETAL CONNECTION DELIVERED 7,638 BOUQUETS TO LOCAL PATIENTS AND SENIORS IN THE COMMUNITY. THIS WAS MADE POSSIBLE BY THE VOULUNTEERS CONTRIBUTING 6,061 HOURS OF THEIR TIME AT AN ESTIMATED VALUE OF $76,380.
