GRAND FAMILY COALITION PROVIDES SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR GRANDPARENTS AND OTHER KIN WHO HAVE TAKEN ON THE FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THEIR KIN. THOSE YOUTH WHO HAVE HAD INVOLVEMENT WITH THE CHILD WELFARE SYSTEM, ABUSE AND NEGLECT, ABANDONMENT, OR DEATH OF A PARENT. GFC PROVIDES SERVICES FOR OVER 220 ADULTS AND 244 YOUTH WITH A KINSHIP NAVIGATOR PROGRAM, PROVIDING SUPPORT GROUPS, EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, YOUTH MENTOR PROGRAMS, SOCIAL EVENTS, AND REFERRALS TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES, WE PROVIDE A SAFE SPACE FOR FAMILIES TO CONNECT TO OTHERS WITH THE SAME LIVED EXPERIENCES SO FAMILIES CAN BEGIN TO HEAL.
