REVIVE INTERNATIONAL EXISTS TO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR THE VICTIMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES. THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED THIS YEAR BY PROVIDING A GRANT OF $75,000 TO REAVIVA IN OLIDNA BRAZIL. THE GRANT SUPPORTED 3 PROGRAMS THAT ARE RUN BY REAVIVA: 1. TWO INSTITUTIONAL CARE HOMES FOR 24 CHILDREN. THAT PROVIDE ROUND THE CLOCK INTEGRAL CARE. CHILDREN ARE AGED BETWEEN 0-17 WHO HAVE HAD THEIR BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS INFRINGED DUE TO PHYSICAL AND SEXUAL ABUSE OR GENERAL NEGLECT. 2. SETTING UP A FOSTERING PROGRAM IN OLINDA THAT TRAINS NEW FOSTER FAMILIES, PROVIDES CARE FOR FOSTER CHILDREN. WITH THE VISION TO END INSTITUTIONAL CARE OF CHILDREN AND MOVE TOWARDS FAMILY BASED CARE. 3. COMMUNITY PROGRAMS SUCH AS A FOOD MARKET FOR FAMILIES SUFFERING FROM FOOD SCARCITY. COMMUNITY RECREATION PROGRAMS USED TO PROVIDE SAFE SPACES FOR CHILDREN AS WELL AS CONNECTING WITH FAMILY TO ADDRESS ISSUES OF ABUSE THROUGH TRAINING AND EDUCATION. REVIVE INTERNATIONAL RECEIVES REGULAR NARRATIVE AND FINANCIAL UPDATES FROM REAVIVA TO ENSURE THE GRANT IS BEING USED FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSE.
