ALLYSHIP PROGRAM - TRAIN ENGAGED COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO BE BRIDGE-BU1LD1NG ALLIES THAT PROMOTE SOCIAL JUSTICE AS A WAY OF LIFE. IN 2021, SERVICE NEVER SLEEPES TRAINED OVER 2,700 ALLIES, HOSTED ITS 2ND ANNUAL ALLYSHIP SUMMIT VIRTUALLY, AND SAW ITS TRAINING WORK RESULT IN 94% OF TRAINING PARTICIPANTS COMMITING TO AN ALLYSHIP LIFESTYLE.
FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM THIS PROGRAM IS A YEAR-LONG PROGRAM THAT PAIRS YOUNG PROFESSIONALS IN THE DC METRO AREA WITH LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE SKILLS-BASED SERVICE ON A PART-TIME BASIS. THE FELLOWSHIP IS DESIGNED TO BUILD LEADING ALLIES BY FOSTERING LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS THROUGH STRUCTURED SERVICE PROJECTS AND MONTHLY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS. IN 2021, SNS GRADUATED ITS SIXTH FELLOWSHIP CLASS OF LEADING ALLIES WHO DELIVERED CAPACITY-BUILDING SERVICE TO 12 NONPROFITS AND PARTNERED WITH A CONSULTING FIRM TO PROVIDE STRATEGIC CONSULTING SERVICES TO TWO AREA NONPROFITS.
