THROUGH ADVOCACY AND LITIGATION, WE HOLD COMPANIES ACCOUNTABLE FOR TOXINS USED IN MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS AND POLLUTION CAUSED DURING THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS. WE AIM TO PROTECT CONSUMERS FROM THE DANGERS OF THESE TOXINS, AS WELL AS HAZARDS POSED TO OUR OCEANS AND WATERWAYS.

CENTER FOR ADVANCED PUBLIC AWARENESS (THE "ORGANIZATION) HAS BEGUN TO ACHIEVE ITS GOALS MAINLY THROUGH ADVOCACY PROGRAMS CENTERED AROUND CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65 VIOLATIONS, WHERE CONSUMERS FACE SIGNIFICANT EXPOSURES TO CHEMICALS THAT CAUSE CANCER, BIRTH DEFECTS OR OTHER REPRODUCTIVE HARM. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HAS PROGRAMS RELATED TO THE WATER AND TOXIC ENFORCEMENT ACT OF 1986 VIOLATORS, WHICH AIMS TO KEEP HARMFUL POLLUTANTS OUT OF THE DRINKING SUPPLY AND OUT OF RIVERS, BEACHES AND BAYS.
