TO PLAN THE MEETING THAT WAS HELD DURING THE SUMMER OF 2016 ON BEHALF OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNORS ASSOCIATION (NGA). THE NATIONAL GOVERNORS ASSOCIATION IS A BIPARTISAN ORGANIZATION OF THE NATION'S GOVERNORS FORMED TO PROMOTE VISIONARY STATE LEADERSHIP IN ORDER TO SHARE BEST PRACTICES AND TO SPEAK WITH A COLLECTIVE VOICE ON NATIONAL POLICY.

THE NGA 2016 SUMMER MEETING COMMITTEE RESPONISBILITIES INCLUDED RAISING PRIVATE FUNDS TO COVER EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE EVENT. THE HOST STATE WAS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING SECURITY, HOSPITALITY, SOCIAL EVENTS AND TRANSPORTATION DURING THE MEETING.
