THESE NEIGHBORHOODS INCLUDE THE ALGONQUIN, CALIFORNIA, CHICKASAW, PARK DU VALLE, PARK HILL, PARKLAND, PORTLAND, RUSSELL AND SHAWNEE NEIGHBORHOODS OF WEST LOUISVILLE.

THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO STIMULATE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION IN WEST LOUISVLLE, WITH A PRIMARY FOCUS ON THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT. BY FOCUSING ON LAND USE, INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS, URBAN DESIGNS, AND AN OVERALL IMPROVED "SENSE OF PLACE,' ONEWEST'S GOAL IS TO BRING A SHARED PROSPERITY BACK TO WEST LOUISVILLE, WHICH IN TURN LIFTS THE ENTIRE LOUISVILLE COMMUNITY.
THE PLAN ROOM PROVIDES BLACK AND MINORITY BUSINESS OWNERS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WITH TRAINING, MENTORSHIP, AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES IN A DEDICATED SPACE IN THE WEST END COMMUNITY.
