ROCKFISH SWIMMING'S VISION IS TO DEVELOP THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE SWIM PROGRAM IN SOUTHERN MARYLAND THAT ALLOWS SWIMMERS TO ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE IN AND OUT OF THE POOL. THIS WILL BE DONE THROUGH AGE AND DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE PRACTICES, DRILLS, AND OTHER INSTRUCTION IN A FUN AND ENCOURAGING ATMOSPHERE. ROCKFISH SWIMMING STRIVES TO HELP EACH ATHLETE BE THE BEST WITH WHAT IS AVAILABLE AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT IN TIME, NO MATTER PAST EXPERIENCE, ABILITY OR RESOURCES. ROCKFISH SWIMMING STRIVES TO CREATE AN ATMOSPHERE OF TRUST, RESPECT AND OVERALL CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT BECAUSE EACH SWIMMER IS VIEWED AS A PERSON FIRST, AND AN ATHLETE SECOND. ROCKFISH SWIMMING ASSOCIATION IS A USA SWIMMING CERTIFIED SWIM TEAM THAT PROVIDES SWIM COACHING, CLINIC AND TRAINING FOR 100 SWIMMERS RANGING IN AGE FROM FIVE TO EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD.
