MI CASA WAS BORN OUT OF A NEED IN THE HISPANIC/LATINO COMMUNITY TO RECEIVE BASIC SERVICES THAT UPHOLD THE IDEA THAT ALL PEOPLE ARE CREATED EQUAL. AS THE COMMUNITY MEETS THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE, IT IS MI CASA'S MISSION TO PROVIDE THE STRENGTH NEEDED FROM THE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES AVAILABLE THROUGH MI CASA.

RUNS A TAX ADVOCACY PROGRAM THAT IS DESIGNED TO HELP FAMILIES FILE TAX RETURNS AND DEAL WITH TAX RELATED ISSUES AT LOWER COST. ALSO PROVIDED CLIENTS WITH INDIVIDUAL TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER RENEWALS. WHILE FOCUSING ON THE IMPORTANCE OF PRIVACY FOR THEIR CLIENTS, MI CASA EDUCATES AND EXPLAINS THE TAXPAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY IN FILING ACCURATE RETURNS.
THE IMMIGRATION PROGRAM HELPED INDIVIDUAL NAVIGATE THE COMPLICATED PROCEDURES AND POLICIES THAT ARE INVOLVED WITH IMMIGRATING TO THE UNITED STATES.
