GCA DELIVERS A HIGHLY EFFECTIVE EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM TO STUDENTS IN GRADES 1 THROUGH 12. STUDENTS ALSO HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN SEVERAL SUCCESSFUL SPORTS PROGRAMS. THE ACADEMY ALSO OFFERS A SPECIALIZED CURRICULUM TO THE MATURE STUDENT AGES 19 AND OLDER. THE INDEPENDENT ADULT STUDIES PROGRAM OFFERS CREDITS TO THESE STUDENTS TO EARN A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA.
THE ACADEMYS ENROLLMENT INCREASES IN THE INDEPENDENT ADULT STUDIES PROGRAM EACH YEAR. THIRTY FIVE STUDENTS GRADUATED IN THE SPRING 2019 COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES. ANOTHER 31 GRADUATED IN DECEMBER 2019. BASED ON THE POSITIVE ADVERTISEMENT FROM THE GRADUATES, THERE IS A SLIGHT INCREASE IN ENROLLMENT AFTER EACH GRADUATION CEREMONY.
A LOCAL COMMUNITY MINISTER GAVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY BY TEACHING A COMPUTER LAB AND BIBLE CLASS. AN INTRODUCTION TO SPANISH, WHICH WAS ADDED LAST YEAR, WAS CONTINUED IN 8TH GRADE CURRICULUM.
