THESE PROGRAMS ARE ESSENTIAL TO OUR MISSION OF PUBLIC SERVICE JOURNALISM, OFFERING A VENUE FOR READERS TO ENGAGE WITH REPORTERS, PUBLIC OFFICIALS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS WHO ARE SHAPING MISSISSIPPI. IN 2021, WE HOSTED A MONTHLY ZOOM SERIES FEATURING NOTABLE MISSISSIPPIANS, MISSISSIPPI STORIES, AS WELL AS A SERIES OF VIRTUAL TOWN HALL MEETINGS, THE MOST SUCCESSFUL BEING A COVID COMMUNITY TOWN HALL, ATTENDED BY OVER 200 PEOPLE AND FEATURING INTERVIEWS WITH THE LT.
