A NEW APPLIED PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCES (APEX)PROGRAM WAS CREATED TO EXTEND THE INTERDISCIPLINARY COMPUTING EDUCATION TO COMMUNITY COLLEGES. OUT OF THE TOTAL COMMITTED PLEDGES, GRANTS OF $270,856 WERE SENT TO ONE UNIVERSITY AND FOUR COMMUNITY COLLEGES DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. PLEASE REFER TO SCH I, PART II FOR THE GRANT INFORMATION.
