UNITED HEALTHCARE - BGCC WILL COLLABORATE WITH 15 BOYS & GIRLS CLUB ORGANIZATIONS ("CLUBS") FOR THIS AGREEMENT. BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS ("CLUBS") ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING A SAFE PLACE WHERE YOUNG PEOPLE CAN LEARN RESILIENCY SKILLS THAT PREPARE THEM TO FIND AND EXPLORE THEIR PERSONAL PASSIONS AND EXPERIENCE MEANINGFUL HEALTH, ACADEMIC, AND LEADERSHIP OUTCOMES. CLUBS EMBED SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND POSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH PRACTICES INTO THE CLUB EXPERIENCE SO YOUTH ARE EQUIPPED TO PREVENT THEMSELVES FROM INTERNALIZING PROBLEMS AND EXTERNALIZING BEHAVIORS, AS EVIDENCED BY HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF ALUMNI SAYING THE CLUB KEPT THEM OUT OF TROUBLE WITH THE LAW. UNITED HAS CONTRIBUTED TO BGCC TO ASSIST CLUBS IN PERFORMING THE ACTIVITIES.
THE COLORADO HEALTH FOUNDATION - THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO INCREASE HEALTHY BEHAVIORS AND POSITIVE DEVELOPMENTAL OUTCOMES FOR ALL CLUB YOUTH AGES 6 TO 18 BY LEVERAGING POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT MODELS, DAILY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PROGRAMMING AND FACILITIES BASED OUT OF SCHOOL TIME INCLUDING AFTER-SCHOOL, SCHOOL BREAKS AND SUMMER PROGRAMS WITH QUALIFIED YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONALS.
COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES DIVISION OF CHILD WELFARE - TGYS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONTRACT IS TO PROVIDE GRANT FUNDING TO COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO PREVENT YOUTH CRIME AND VIOLENCE, CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT, YOUTH MARIJUANA USE AND HIGH SCHOOL DROPOUT.
