EARLY MILESTONES COLORADO IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT ADVANCES SUCCESS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN ACROSS THE STATE BY ACCELERATING INNOVATION, USE OF BEST PRACTICES AND SYSTEMIC CHANGE. MILESTONES ENVISIONS A COLORADO IN WHICH EVERY CHILD IS VALUED, HEALTHY AND PREPARED TO THRIVE IN SCHOOL AND IN LIFE.

COMMUNITY INNOVATION AND RESILIENCE FOR CARE AND LEARNING EQUITY (CIRCLE- 135) - AN INITIATIVE TO SUPPORT GRANTEES AS THEY IMPLEMENT INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO CHILDCARE CHALLENGES EXACERBATED BY THE PANDEMIC, EMPHASIZING DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION ACTIVITIES THAT STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIPS AND ELIMINATE BARRIERS. GRANTS WILL SUPPORT PROJECTS TO MAKE CHILDCARE MORE AFFORDABLE; FILL GAPS IN INFANT AND TODDLER CARE; STRENGTHEN PROVIDERS' FINANCIAL STABILITY; BOOST WORKFORCE PREPARATION; AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE HEALTH AND LEARNING OF ALL CHILDREN.

EC WORKFORCE PLAN (138) - IN 2017, COLORADO DEVELOPED THE EARLY CHILDHOOD WORKFORCE 2020 PLAN, SETTING AMBITIOUS GOALS RELATED TO WORKFORCE RECRUITMENT, PREPARATION, WELL-BEING, RETENTION, AND DATA. THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF EARLY CHILDHOOD AND THE EARLY CHILDHOOD LEADERSHIP COMMISSION, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH EARLY MILESTONES, WILL BE UPDATING AND EXPANDING UPON THE PLAN, CREATING A NEW COLORADO COMPREHENSIVE EARLY CHILDHOOD WORKFORCE PLAN. THE NEW PLAN WILL TAKE A BROAD VIEW OF THE EARLY CHILDHOOD WORKFORCE INCLUDING HOME VISITING, EARLY CHILDHOOD MENTAL HEALTH, AND EARLY INTERVENTION.
