THESE EFFORTS WILL INCLUDE IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE FOR FAMILIES SUDDENLY AFFECTED BY A DIAGNOSIS OF DIABETES, AS WELL AS ONGOING ASSISTANCE TO HELP FAMILIES ADJUST TO THIS UNEXPECTED AND LIFE-ALTERING DIAGNOSIS.
