GALACTIC SPORTS - GASOL FOUNDATION PROGRAMS THAT USES SPORTS AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY TO PROMOTE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES AND FUNDAMENTAL VALUES TO AT-RISK YOUTH.


COMMUNITY WELLNESS IS A COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS. THE GOAL OF COMMUNITY WELLNESS IS TO REDUCE RISK OF CHILDHOOD OBESITY BY TEACHING BASIC HEALTHY HABITS: DIET, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, SLEEP, AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING.


ENERGY - HEALTH AND WELLNESS CAMP IS A SUMMER CAMP IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE YMCA. KIDS TRAVEL THE "HEALTHY GALAXY" THROUGH AN 8 WEEK SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM WHERE THEY LEARN ABOUT HEALTHY EATING, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORT, SLEEP QUALITY AND DURATION AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING. THE PROGRAM SERVED OVER 400 KIDS AGES 6-12.
