THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PURPOSES SET FORTH IN SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, OR THE CORRESPONDING PROVISION OF ANY FUTURE UNITED STATES INTERNAL REVENUE LAW (THE "CODE"). THE PRIMARY GOAL OF THE CORPORATION IS TO FACILITATE THE CREATION OF A STATEWIDE EDUCATIONAL NETWORK TO ASSIST IN THE DELIVERY OF ONLINE ASSESSMENTS AND FOSTER THE SHARING OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES ACROSS THE STATE. CREATION OF A STATEWIDE EDUCATIONAL NETWORK TO ASSIST IN THE DELIVERY OF ONLINE ASSESMENTS AND FOSTER THE SHARING OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES ACROSS THE STATE.
THE PURPOSE OF THE EDUPATH FUND IS TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO TEACHERS. MICHIGAN STATE EDUCATIONAL NETWORK PROVIDES 200 PLUS COURSES ONLINE FOR THIS PURPOSE AND SUPPLIES STATE CONTINUING EDUCATION CLOCK HOURS TO TEACHERS.
THE PURPOSE OF THE INNOVATE FUND IS TO PURSURE NEW PROJECT ENDEAVORS SUCH AS THOSE RELATED TO EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE DISTRICTS.
THE PURPOSE OF THE DATA SERVICE COLLABORATIVE FUND FOR THE FUNDS USED FOR THE STATEWIDE COLLABORATIVE INITIATIVE. THE PURPOSE OF THE E-RATE FUND IS TO MAINTAIN THE FUND RECIEVED FROM KENT INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR E-RATE REIMBURSEMENTS. THE PURPOSE OF THE MISEN FUND IS TO CONNECT INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND EVENTUALLY K-12 BUILDINGS, INCLUDING LEA'S AND PSA'S TO A STATEWIDE FIBER-OPTIC BACKBONE NETWORK.
