IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NC DIVISION OF PUBLIC HEALTH, THE FOUNDATION IMPLEMENTED OVER 50 PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES PROVIDING INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE SOLUTIONS TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH PROBLEMS FACING NORTH CAROLINA TODAY. OVER 85 COUNTIES WERE INVOLVED REACHING OVER 500,000 PEOPLE STATE WIDE. PROGRAMS ADDRESSED DIABETES, CANCER, HEART DISEASE AND STROKE AND INJURY PREVENTION AND AWARENESS, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND NUTRITION, IMMUNIZATIONS, SCHOOL HEALTH, WORKSITE WELLNESS AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IN PUBLIC HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS.
