THE CONDUCT OF CONFERENCES AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IS AN ACTIVITY DESIGNED TO PROVIDE MEMBERS IRRIGATION INTERESTS WITH UPDATES ON CRITICAL WATER RESOURCES POLICY DECISIONS AND MEANS AND METHODS OF BETTER DELIVERY OF WATER SUPPLIES TO THE WATER USERS SERVED BY MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBER IRRIGATION ORGANIZATIONS. THIS INFORMATION IS USED ROUTINELY BY IRRIGATION INTEREST IN MAKING BETTER DECISIONS.
THE FUTURE LEADERS ACADEMY PROVIDES WATER RESOURCES EDUCATION TO ALL WATER INTERESTS IN THE STATE AND TO DEVELOP FUTURE WATER POLICY LEADERS FOR THE STATE
THE REPRESENTATION OF IRRIGATION AND WATER POLICY ISSUES BEFORE THE LEGISLATURE AND THE SEVERAL ADMINISTRATIVE AGENCIES WHICH MAKE AND ADMINISTER WATER POLICY IS CRITICAL TO THE IRRIGATION WATER ORGANIZATIONS IN THE STATE. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES DIRECT INPUT FOR THESE ACTIVITIES AND ALSO COORDINATES SUCH INPUTS AS NEEDED BY MEMBERS DIRECTLY WITH THE SEVERAL AGENCIES AND THE LEGISLATURE.
