THE FOUNDATION IS A VOLUNTARY HEALTH AND WELFARE AGENCY ESTABLISHED IN 1964 BY ARVILLA MEDORA REDFERN. THE PURPOSE OF WHICH IS TO RECEIVE, EARN, ADMINISTER, AND DISTRIBUTE FUNDS TO QUALIFYING CHARITABLE AND/OR HUMAN SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS, EDUCATIONAL ENTITIES, AND FAITH BASED ORGANIZATIONS.
