TRAINING THE TRAINERS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR COMMUNICATES WEEKLY WITH AN ORGANIZATION IN GUATEMALA THAT OPERATES A CENTRAL TRAINING FACILITY NEAR CHICHICASTENAGO AND IS ESTABLISHING EXTENSION CENTERS IN OUTLYING AREAS OF GUATEMALA, VENEZUELA, CUBA,MEXICO, & THE US. EXCECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND TREASURER REVIEW FINANCIAL STATEMENTS,CONSULTS REGULARLY TO ADVISE THE GUATEMALAN ACCOUNTANT TO ASSESS THE HANDLING OF FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS AND TO ASSESS THE CONTINUED IMPACT OF COVID ON THE MISSION. THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ADVISES VIA ZOOM CALLS, DUE TO COVID,SIMILAR TRAINING CENTERS LOCATED IN LATINO COMMUNITIES IN THE US.
STUDENT EDUCATION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PARTICIPATES DIRECTLY IN PASTORAL TRAINING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE ANNUAL STUDENT CONFERENCE WAS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID AND GOVERNMENT ORDERS. THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MAINTAINS CONTACT WITH EXTENSION CENTERS IN THE US AS THEY EQUIP AND ENCOURAGE PASTORS IN LATINO COMMUNITIES. 84 STUDENTS WERE PART OF INTERNATIONAL EXTENSIONS AND 42 STUDENTS WERE STUDYING AT BIBLE INSTITUTE. THERE WERE 18 STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN THE ONLINE PROGRAM WITH STUDENTS FROM GUATEMALA, MEXICO, VENEZULA, AND US
SHORT TERM MISSION TRIPS HELPED ARRANGE 2 US CHURCHES SHORT TERM VOLUNTEER MISSION TRIPS TO CENTRAL AMERICA WITH 11 VOLUNTEERS INVOLVED IN VARIOUS HUMANITARIAN AND AND TEACHING ACTIVITIES.
