TO PROVIDE CHALLENGED YOUTHS AND YOUNG ADULTS AN ENVIRONMENT THAT PROVIDES THEM WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP SELF-WORTH WORKING ON AN ANIMAL FARM. THIS GETS THEM OUT OF A CARE FACILITY INTO AN OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT AND PROVIDES THEM WITH STRUCTURED SUPERVISION AS THEY DEVELOP SKILLS.

THE LEARNING FARM PROVIDED DAYCARE TYPE SERVICES FOR APPROX. 250 DAYS DURING 2020. SERVICES WERE PROVIDED FOR UP TO 48 CHALLENGED INDIVIDUALS ON A DAILY BASIS. THE INDIVIDUALS WERE ENGAGED IN ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH RUNNING AN ANIMAL FARM AND GIVEN RESPONSIBILITIES AT THE FARM. THIS HELPED DEVELOP BOTH A SENSE OF SELF-WORTH AND USABLE SKILLS FOR THESE INDIVIDUALS.
