TO PROMOTE A STRONG ADVOCACY AMONG STUDENTS, THE BAND DIRECTOR AND THE ADMINISTRATION OF ALPHARETTA HIGH SCHOOL AND THE FULTON COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

THE BAND BOOSTERS PROVIDED MONETARY AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT FOR THE ALPHARETTA HIGH SCHOOL BAND PROGRAM WITH 119 STUDENTS IN MARCHING BAND AND COLOR GUARD. THE MARCHING BAND AND COLOR GUARD PARTICIPATED IN A TWO WEEK BAND CAMP AT THE SCHOOL. THERE WERE ALSO SUMMER PRACTICES FOR PERCUSSION AND COLOR GUARD. THE MARCHING BAND PERFORMED AT SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAMES AND IN SEVERAL COMPETITIONS AND RECEIVED HIGH HONORS.
35 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN WINTER GUARD. THEY WERE PROVIDED WITH INSTRUCTION, UNIFORMS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO COMPETE AGAINST OTHER WINTER GUARD TEAMS IN THE SOUTHEAST. THE BAND ALSO HOSTED A WINTER GUARD COMPETITION AT THE SCHOOL. 21 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN INDOOR PERCUSSION. THEY WERE PROVIDED WITH INSTRUCTION, UNIFORMS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO COMPETE.
CONCERT BAND IS A BAND CLASS DURING SCHOOL HOURS. 125 BAND STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE VARIOUS BAND CLASSES. THESE STUDENTS RECEIVED INSTRUCTIONAL TRAINING AND SUPPORT. THEY PARTICIPATED IN COMMUNITY CONCERTS FOR PARENTS, FAMILIES AND SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION. SEVERAL STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN ALL STATE BAND AND DISTRICT HONOR BAND.
THE ORGANIZATION OWNS INSTRUMENTS AND EQUIPMENT TO SUPPORT ALL BAND AND COLOR GUARD STUDENTS.
