THE ROARING FORK MOUNTAIN BIKE ASSOCIATION IS DEDICATED TO CREATING AND SUSTAINING THE BEST POSSIBLE MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL SYSTEM AND EXPERIENCE IN THE ROARING FORK VALLEY.

TRAIL CREATION AND MAINTENANCE. IN 2021, RFMBA'S WORK INCLUDED CONSTRUCTION OF THE SUTEY RANCH ACCESS TRAIL THROUGH PARTNERSHIP WITH BLM AND ORGANIZED VOLUNTEER EVENTS, AS WELL AS COMPLETION OF EXPANDED TRAIL NETWORK IN NEW CASTLE COLORADO. TRAIL PLANNING INITIATIVES DETERMINED NEARLY 12 MILES OF FUTURE TRAILS NEAR NEW CASTLE AND ASPEN. ADDITIONALLY, OUR SEASONAL TRAIL CREW WAS HIRED TO PERFORM TRAIL MAINTENANCE THROUGHOUT THE ROARING FORK VALLEY INCLUDING DEFERRED MAINTENANCE ON SPECIFIC TRAILS ON THE WHITE RIVER NATIONAL FOREST, AND ASSIST WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SUTEY RANCH ACCESS TRAIL AND OTHER LOCAL TRAIL PROJECTS. 180 VOLUNTEERS, WITH 1,936 HOURS.
