THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSES OF BUILDING AND PROMOTING A VIBRANT ENTREPRENEURIAL SECTOR IN GREATER CINCINNATI, OHIO AND BEYOND THAT SUSTAINS INNOVATIVE START-UPS AND EMERGING BUSINESSES; EDUCATING THE REGIONAL BUSINESS COMMUNITIES ON OPPORTUNITIES TO ASSIST SUCH COMPANIES (THIS IS NOW ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH A SEPARATE, RELATED 501(C)(3) TAX-EXEMPT ENTITY, QCA EDUCATION FOUNDATION); TO FACILITATE INVESTING IN BUSINESSES; AND PROVIDING A FORUM FOR THE DISSEMINATION OF IDEAS, BUSINESS PRACTICES, AND OTHER INFORMATION AMONG REGIONAL/NATIONAL EMERGING START-UP AND EMERGING COMPANIES. EKICKSTART - MONTHY SPEAKER SERIES EDUCATING ENTREPENEUERS ON NUMEROUS TOPICS AND SUBJECT MATTER OF INTEREST.


ENTREPRENEUR BOOT CAMP - SUPPORT PROVIDED TO QCA EDUCATION FOUNDATION (QUEEN CITY ANGELS' NON-PROFIT) ENTREPRENEUR BOOT CAMP. THIS IS AN INTENSIVE TWO-DAY WORKSHOP CREATED IN 2001 FOR EARLY-STAGE GROWTH COMPANIES AND FUTURE ENTREPRENEURS. THE EVENT LEVERAGES 13 SESSIONS WITH TOPIC AREAS INCLUDING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, STRATEGIC MARKETING, CONTRACTS, BUILDING YOUR TEAMS, SOCIAL MEDIA, FINANCIALS, AND HOW TO PITCH ANGEL INVESTORS.
