OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE TO STATE FOSTER CARE, USING A CHRISTIAN FAMILY HOME ENVIRONMENT TO SHOW YOUNG MEN THEY HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE THE COURSE OF THEIR LIVES. WE SHARE THE LOVE OF CHRIST WITH THESE YOUNG MEN AND HELP THEM IMPROVE THEIR LIVES, DO WELL IN SCHOOL, AND BECOME CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.

THE FREEDOM GATES BOYS RANCH IS A LICENSED PROPERTY THAT PROVIDES LIVING QUARTERS FOR BOYS. HERE THEY ARE PROVIDED THEIR FOOD, SHELTER AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT. THE HOUSE PARENTS WORK WITH THE BOYS DAILY WITH THEIR SELF-ESTEEM, POSITIVE SELF-DIRECTION, AND SELF-CONTROL BY SHARING WITH THEM THE LOVE OF CHRIST, HEALTHY WORK ETHICS AND HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS. THIS RESIDENCE PROVIDES THE BOYS A PLACE TO LIVE THAT INCLUDES ALL THE FUNCTIONS OF A NORMAL HOME AS THEY WORK ON THEIR PATTERNS OF BEHAVIOR.
THE FARM & RANCH PROGRAM TEACHES BOYS THE VALUE OF HARD WORK, RESPONSIBILITY, AND THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD RELATIONSHIPS BY PROVIDING THEM EXPERIENCES WITH HORSES, CHICKENS, OTHER SMALL FARM ANIMALS, FARMING CHORES AND EQUIPMENT.
ON-CAMPUS SCHOOL, THE BOYS AT THE FACILITY ATTEND THROUGH COOPERATIVES WITH SOUTHWINDS ACADEMY AND OTIS-BYSON SCHOOL DISTRICT ALLOWING THEM TO STAY AT THE FACILITY AND COMPLETE CLASSES. SCHOOL IS CURRENTLY BEING HELD IN A ROOM AT THE 303 W MAIN ST PROPERTY. FOR FUTURE THERE WILL BE A "CAMPUS CENTER" IT IT IS BEING BUILT AND WILL HOLD THE CLASSROOM, 1/2 BASKETBALL COURT (WILL BE MULTIUSE), OFFICES, LIBRARY AND OTHER ROOMS. THIS WILL REMOVE THE CLASSROOM FROM THE RESIDENCE IN WHICH THE BOYS CURRENTLY LIVE.
