FAMILY SERVICES:THE SUDC FOUNDATION SERVES THOSE AFFECTED BY SUDC BY PROVIDING PERSONALIZED CARE AND CULTIVATING A COMMUNITY OF SUPPORT FOR BEREAVED FAMILIES SO NO ONE GRIEVES ALONE. THE SUDC FOUNDATION ALSO ENSURES THAT FAMILIES RECEIVE A COMPREHENSIVE, EQUITABLE, AND STANDARDIZED DEATH INVESTIGATION FOR THEIR CHILD AND APPROPRIATE MEDICAL CARE AND TREATMENT. THE SUDC FOUNDATION PROVIDES THESE SERVICES AT NO COST TO THE PEOPLE IT SERVES. IN 2023, WE SERVED UPWARDS OF 1,928 FAMILIES INCLUDING 239 VOLUNTEERS IN 33 U.S STATES AND 4 COUNTRIES.
RAISE AWARENESS:THE SUDC FOUNDATION RAISES SUDC AWARENESS IN THE COMMUNITY THROUGH OUR AMBASSADOR PROGRAM. SUDC AWARENESS MONTH WAS HONORED THROUGH 47 U.S. STATE PROCLAMATIONS AND 139 LANDMARKS WORLDWIDE WERE ILLUMINATED.
RESEARCH:WE FUND, ENDORSE, AND PARTICIPATE IN RESEARCH TO IMPROVE THE UNDERSTANDING OF SUDC.
