YCD COLORADO: STARTED IN 1994 AS THE CHERRY CREEK DIVERSITY CONFERENCE WITH JUST 18 SCHOOLS ATTENDING, TODAY YCD COLORADO REACHES OVER 1,500 YOUNG PEOPLE AGES 11-18 IN 185+ SCHOOLS AND YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS ANNUALLY ACROSS THE STATE THROUGH OUR PROGRAM. YCD COLORADO NOW OFFERS A MIXTURE OF VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON EVENTS, WORKSHOPS, TRAININGS, DISCUSSION GROUPS, AND RESOURCES TO EMPOWER COLORADO TEENS AND EDUCATORS TO ADVANCE INCLUSION AND JUSTICE IN THEIR LOCAL SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR EDUCATORS: YCD HOSTS AND ORGANIZES WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS FOR EDUCATORS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, WITH TOPICS AND SESSIONS INSPIRED BY THE FEEDBACK AND INPUT WE RECEIVE FROM OUR STUDENTS.
