SIXDEGREES.ORG THROWS A VARIETY OF CHARITABLE CAMPAIGNS AND PLANS SURPRISE POP-UPS AND DROP-INS IN ORDER TO BOTH HELP SPREAD AWARENESS AND RAISE MONEY FOR LOCAL NON-PROFITS.

THE BORN PERFECT CAMPAIGN, A PROGRAM OF THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR LESBIAN RIGHTS, WHICH WORKS WITHIN THE LEGAL SYSTEM TO ENSURE LGBTQ+ PERSONS SAFETY -- AND TO END THE PRACTICE OF CONVERSION THERAPY ALTOGETHER.
THE UKRAINE RELIEF PROGRAM WAS A POP-UP CONCERT CREATED TO HELP LAUNCH A UKRAINE FUND TO SUPPORT LOCAL CHARITIES ON THE GROUND IN UKRAINE DURING THE ONSET OF THE WAR. THIS INITIATIVE HIGHLIGHTED A RUSSIAN-OWNED ESTABLISHMENT IN WASHINGTON DC THAT HAD BEEN ADVOCATING AND FUNDRAISING FOR HIS UKRAINIAN EMPLOYEES WHO HAD FAMILY MEMBERS TRAPPED IN UKRAINIANS VILLAGES UNDER FIRE. THIS WAS BOTH A COMMUNITY BUILDING EVENT AND AN AMPLIFICAITON EVENT TO CREATE FURTHER AWARENESS OF THE NEEDS IN UKRAINE AT THE TIME.
THE ROCK TO THE FUTURE VIDEO CAMPAIGN PROVIDED A PUBLISHED, PRO-BONO EDUCATIONAL VIDEO SHARING THE IMPACT MADE BY ROCK TO THE FUTURE, A PHILADELPHIA BASED FREE MUSIC PROGRAMING ORGANIZATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN DISADVANTAGED AREAS. THE PROJECT ALSO CREATED AN OPPORTUNITTY FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE TO PARTIDICAPTE IN A REAL MUSIC VIDEO AND WRITE ON A RECORD. THIS INCREASED AWARENESS AND PUBLICITY FOR ROCK TO THE FURTURE AND HELPED THEM GAIN NATIONAL ATTENTION. WE ALSO PROVIDED MATCHING GRANT FUNDS TO HELP SECURE A RECORDING STUDIO FOR THE ORGANIZATION TO USE.
