SEE SCHEDULE O NORTHWEST VALLEY CONNECT (NVC), IS IN ITS 9TH YEAR OF SERVICE, AND HAS PROVIDED 67,000 RIDES TO 3005 SENIORS, PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND VETERANS IN THE WEST VALLEY OF METRO PHOENIX. NVC OPERATED DURING THE PANDEMIC TO PROVIDE MOBILITY TO THOSE MOST VULNERABLE IN THE COMMUNITY TO GET TO DIALYSIS, CANCER AND OTHER MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS NVC ADDED SERVICE TO HELP SENIORS TO GET FOOD, MEDICATIONS AND VACCINATIONS WITH NO CONTACT FOR SAFETY STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS ADDED SAFETY CLEANING MEASURES TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID AND OTHER INFECTIOUS DISEASES A CORE GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS STARTED A CALL CHAIN TO CHECK ON THOSE SENIORS WHO LIVE ALONE AND HAD NO SUPPORT SYSTEM IN 2021 WE SAW SOME GROWTH AND CLIENTS ARE GETTING OUT INTO THE COMMUNITY MORE BECAUSE OF OUR ADDED MEASURES AND SERVICES. WE WANT TO THANK OUR SUPPORTERS SUCH AS THE VIRGINIA G PIPER CHARITABLE TRUST NINA MASON PULLIAM CHARITABLE TRUST AND SUN CITY WEST FOUNDATION THAT HELPED US CONTINUE THROUGH THE PANDEMIC AND COME OUT STRONGER THAN EVER.
