LEMONADE DAY 2023 WAS AN EXCEPTIONAL DAY FOR LUBBOCK, TX. YOUTH REGISTERED FOR THE PROGRAM RESULTING IN ROUGHLY 331 LEMONADE STANDS. MANY BUSINESSES WERE ENGAGED AND OVER 95 VOLUNTEERS WERE ACTIVE. THE AVERAGE STAND REPORTED $232 IN PROFIT. CHILDREN PARTICIPATED IN 5 EVENTS DESIGNED TO PROMOTE THE KEY LESSONS IN LEMONADE DAY AND PAINTED THE TOWN "YELLOW". FAMILIES REPORTED A MAJOR IMPACT ON THEIR CHILD'S UNDERSTANDING OF FINANCIAL MATTERS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP. BY PARTICIPATING IN LEMONADE DAY, YOUTH LEARNED THE IMPORTANCE OF THREE S'S - SPENDING, SAVING, AND SHARING.
